The room was cozy and comfortable with a lovely patio where we could relax and soak in the beautiful views. The seating area was perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring. I really liked the private entrance, it made us feel like we had our own little hideaway. The air conditioning in the room was a lifesaver in the hot weather. And let's not forget the balcony, it was the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in the morning.

Personally, I didn't use the tea/coffee maker in the room, but it's there for those who enjoy a hot drink.

Welcoming and knowledgeable staff, great restaurant recommendations, elephant transit home and safari trips available. Comfortable rooms with hot water, reading porch. Family-run property with fabulous hosts. Fabulous spread for dinner and late breakfast included. Like an adult treehouse, comfortable beds with mosquito nets. Good place for safari tour, buffet style dinner, basic but gorgeous treehouse style cabins. Amazing night with breathtaking experience seeing elephants. Beautiful lodge, welcoming staff, delicious food. Enjoyed tea and cake in the early evening, learned card games. Great stay, would recommend.

Nandu and his team were incredibly welcoming, going above and beyond to make us feel cared for. The meals were delicious, offering a mix of local and western cuisine. The safari organized by Nandu was a truly special experience, with sightings of elephants, crocodiles, monkeys, and more. The tuktuk tour of the village was also a great addition. The room was fantastic, with great facilities including air conditioning and a comfortable bed. The staff's attention to detail and genuine interest in creating the best experience possible made our stay unforgettable.

The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had a fantastic experience. They organized everything for me, from dropping me off at a restaurant to taking me to the local elephant transit. They even decorated another couple's balcony and got them a cake to celebrate their anniversary. The rooms were comfortable and had everything I needed. The food was delicious, especially the buffet-style dinner and the amazing breakfast spread. And the safari was the highlight of my trip. The lodge provided a driver and jeep, and we saw an abundance of wildlife. I highly recommend this lodge for a memorable safari adventure.

Our stay at this safari lodge was absolutely mind-blowing! The rooms were super comfortable and clean, with free wi-fi and an electric kettle for convenience. The air conditioning kept us cool during the hot days. The staff was jaw-droppingly friendly and helpful, providing great restaurant recommendations and organizing amazing trips to the elephant transit home and a thrilling safari. The delicious food at the restaurant left us speechless, and the bar/lounge area was a great place to unwind. The outdoor dining area provided a charming atmosphere, and the children's play area and playpen ensured our little ones had a blast. The 24-hour reception and security made us feel safe and well taken care of. this place exceeded all our expectations and we can't wait to come back!

Breakfast selection could be more diverse.

The breakfast at Lizard Safari Lodge was a delicious treat every morning. I couldn't resist the American breakfast with its fluffy pancakes and crispy bacon. It was like having a gourmet brunch in the wilderness!

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They provided us with helpful recommendations for nearby restaurants and organized our trips to the elephant transit home and a fantastic safari. The rooms were comfortable and had all the necessary facilities, including hot water. The porch was a great place to relax and enjoy a book. The breakfast served was amazing, and they even prepared sandwiches for our safari trip. The food in general was of great quality, using local products.

One negative aspect was that the owner of the property seemed to pressure guests to purchase a safari package with him. Another downside was that the prices for the rooms were falsely advertised online, causing disappointment upon arrival.

There were no activities to do in the evenings and the hotel felt isolated. there were no credit card options for payment, and everything had to be paid in cash.

our honeymoon at lizard safari lodge was exceptional. the staff went above and beyond, from organizing our safari to surprising another couple with a special anniversary celebration. the rooms were comfortable and the food was delicious. it truly exceeded our expectations and made our stay memorable.

Room insulation could be improved.

We had a fantastic time at the lodge, with friendly staff and great advice on activities. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the included safari with a knowledgeable guide. The manager took care of all the details and even provided snacks for the jeep ride. Highly recommended!

Nandu, the owner, ensured our stay exceeded our expectations, organizing everything efficiently. The lodge's attention to detail, comfortable accommodations, and exceptional service made our experience truly exceptional.
